Ordinance 244: 1936 Tax Rate

An Ordinance fixing the tax rate for all purposes in the Borough of Darlington, County of Beaver and State of Pennsylvania for the year 1937.

Be it enacted and ordained by the Town Council of the Borough of Darlington and it is hereby enacted and ordained by authority of the same.

Sec. 1. That the tax or millage for all purposes in the Borough of Darlington for the year 1937 be and the same is hereby fixed at twelve (12) mills on each dollar, or one and twenty hundredths ($1.20) on each One Hundred Dollars of valuation for general expenses of the Borough.

Sec. 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance be, and the same are hereby repealed.

Enacted and ordained into an Ordinance by the Town Council of the Borough of Darlington, this 15th day of February A.D. 1937.
