ORDINANCE NO. 2008-1: An Ordinance Fixing the Tax Rate for 2008

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF DARLINGTON BEAVER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR OF 2008.

BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the Council of the Borough of Darlington, County of Beaver and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as follows:             Beaver and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as follows:

SECTION 1. That a tax be and the same is hereby levied on all property and occupants within the Borough of Darlington subject to taxation for the Borough purposes for the fiscal year 2008 as follows:

Tax rate for general Borough purposes, the sum of seven point four (7.4) mills for each ($1,000.00) Dollars of assessed valuation on all real property situated in said Borough of Darlington made liable under the law of taxation for Borough purposes.

SECTION 2. That any ordinance, or parts of any ordinances, conflicting with this ordinance, be and the same is hereby repealed insofar, as the same affects this ordinance.

ENACTED AND ORDAINED this 7th day of January, 2008.
