An Ordinance fixing the tax rate for all purposes in the Borough of Darlington, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, for the year 1928.
Be it enacted and ordained by the Town Council of the Borough of Darlington and it is hereby enacted and ordained by authority of the same:
Sec. 1. That the tax or millage for all purposes in the Borough of Darlington for the year 1928, be and the same is hereby fixed at sixteen mills on each dollar or one and sixty hundredths ($1.60) Dollars on each one hundred dollars of valuation for the following purposes:
- Fourteen mills thereof to provide for the general expenses of the Borough.
- Two mills thereof for the sinking fund proportionately for the several issues of the bonds of said Borough, out of which to pay the interest on the said bonds, and the principal thereof, as they severally become due and payable.
Sec. 2. All ordinance or parts of ordinances, in conflict with this Ordinance, or any part
thereof, be and the same are hereby repealed.
Enacted and ordained into an Ordinance by the Town Council of the Borough of Darlington, this 5th day of March A.O. 1928.
