An ordinance authorizing and directing the Pennsylvania Power Company to furnish street lighting service for the streets and highways of the Darlington Borough, of the County of Beaver, and State of Pennsylvania, for a term of not less than five years, and providing for payment by the said Municipality for said service.
Be it ordained and enacted by the Council of the Borough of Darlington, of the County of Beaver, State of Pennsylvania, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same:
Sec.1. That the Pennsylvania Power Company be, and it is hereby, authorized and directed to supply street lighting service for the streets and highways of the Darlington Borough, of the County of Beaver, and State of Pennsylvania, for and during the term of five years commencing on the date on which service is first furnished or on the 5th day of August 1965 and shall continue thereafter from year to year unless cancelled in writing by not less than sixty (60) days notice prior to the expiration of any such yearly period, from the following lamps:

37- – ——2,500 Lumen Incandescent Lamps
18,—7,500 Lumen Mercury Vapor Lamps
And street lighting service during any remaining unexpired portion of the aforesaid term from such additional lamps of the type or types hereinbefore specified or of any other type or types of lamps specified in the Rate Schedules hereinafter mentioned in Section 2, as the said Municipality may order installed from time to time.
Sec. 2. The aforesaid service shall be supplied to the Municipality at the rates and in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the said Company’s Published Tariff of Rates on file with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (the rate at this time or this service being Rates Schedules 50 and 51 of the Company’s Tariff Electric – Pa.
P.V.C. No. 31) a copy being and such changes and modification as may be lawfully made in said Rate Schedule.
Sec. 3. Upon the acceptance of this ordinance by said Company within ninety (90) days from the enactment hereof, it shall insure to the benefit of and be binding upon said Municipality and said Company, and their successors and assigns, respectively.
( Sec. 4. All Ordinance or parts of Ordinances conflicting with the provisions of this Ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed insofar as the same affect this Ordinance.
